The ache behind the eyes
Eight hours of screens leaves the small muscles around your eyes tired and the band across your temples tight. Closing your eyes helps for a minute. Then you open them and it is still there.

How it works
A soft mask holds two heating pads over the eyes and a ring of airbags around them. A small pump inflates the airbags in a slow wave, and a Bluetooth speaker in each temple plays whatever you send it.

Graphene heating film warms the pads over the eyes to about 42 °C at most. It is close to body temperature, meant to be comfortable for the full session.

Airbags inflate from the temples inward and release, at a pace of about ten seconds per cycle. Five programmes vary the pattern and pressure.

Folds to the size of a glasses case
The mask hinges at the centre. The band is elastic and adjusts to most head sizes.

The pads sit on the bone around the eye socket, not on the eye itself. Blinking is possible throughout.

The inner lining is a smooth protein-leather that wipes clean. A spare lining is not needed.

Can I wear it with glasses or contact lenses?
Take glasses off. Remove contact lenses if you would normally remove them before closing your eyes for fifteen minutes.
Does it need an app?
No. It pairs over Bluetooth like a pair of headphones. Programmes are chosen with the buttons on the mask.
Can I use it without the heat?
Yes. Heat, air pressure and audio each switch on and off separately.
How tight is it?
The band is elastic and adjustable. The airbags press gently and release; the highest intensity is firm but not uncomfortable for most people.
Can I see through it?
No. It blocks light fully, which is part of the point.
